My review

We all have our dreams about getting married including the thoughts about our spouses and the life afterwards. The Indian Tycoon’s marriage deal by Adite Banerjee is an electrifying story about entering into a deal in the name of marriage. A marriage in name guided by a feeling of taking on revenge!

Marriage deal – doesn’t the phrase seem to be a contrasting one? Can a marriage be a deal? Literally speaking, it may be because the parties may be coming together with their own terms and conditions to settle in a relationship; but in reality can marriage, an event of celebrating souls coming together, be sealed into a deal? Get to know how the table turns as Adite invites you to attend a high profile wedding in Delhi.

Maya is burning with the fire of avenging his father’s murderer but she has a story that needs to be completed. Driven by the fierce feeling she lands into the lion’s den with weak chances of her one-to-one face-off with him – KD. Krish Dev, son of KD, is trying hard to escape his father’s autocratic behavior and this time, it is about him getting married to a girl of his father’s choice. Ironically, this pact is nothing more than a business deal in the name of marriage. No more, he is willing to play pawn to his father’s deeds and finds his rescue in Maya! Both come together with their own reasons but will they hunt down what they are hunting for?

This is my second chance to review Adite’s work but this came first from her kitty. I liked this story over the second one. Reasons follow.

This is a strong story driven with motives of the characters. KD works with a motive to become the most powerful businessman in the town; whereas his son is motivated to carve his own niche in his father’s kingdom, while Maya a strong headed lady finds her motive in destroying KD and his empire. All the three have a purpose and they propose… Krish comes to an understanding with Maya to enter into a deal called ‘Marriage’ and proposes her a secure and suitable career ahead in his dream project. Maya finds herself, landing straight in front of KD and proposes him to dare and face the truth! Amongst all this chaos, KD proposes his son Krish to get married to a girl who will only add up to the Dev’s empire and what do he has to propose to Maya? This proposition calls for a read.

The characters are alluring to keep you glued till the end. Maya is a strong girl who is a victim of faith and has lost everything called family. This makes her focused to her ambition and thus, she remains fiery and in attacking mode just to learn that she is step closer to her enemy. Krish Dev, a straight forward guy who prefers to be cut and clear in his directions and actions, alike. He wishes to follow his own dreams and that too without his father’s influence. KD, a big name, who has soiled himself in the course is all charged to transfer his legacy to his son, the heir of the empire but it’s a long journey ahead!

Will Maya be able to avenge his father’s death? Will she be able to come in terms with Krish? What about their marriage and for that matter of fact their deal? What will be the outcome of this father-son relationship under the influence of Maya? Who is the real benefactor in all these equations? The author has intelligently, plotted a story which readers will enjoy undoubtedly. Her engaging writing style keeps the vibes going and you are on wheels. Her livid descriptions always make the scene go live in front of the eyes and emotions start flowing from eyes.

Readers will definitely enjoy the chemistry shared between the duo and the reactions between a father and a son’s heated discussions. Is it possible to keep heart out in such matters? What happens when it shows its true colors and signifies its presence, is what the story is about. I am confident you will come out more mature and patient after completing the story.

A delectable read!
